Parks with a playground, according to the Municipality

If you travel with children, a park with a playground is a useful break between sea and museums. The Municipality of Pesaro page on parks and gardens (in Italian) lists green spaces with a description and services. The section is marked as being updated and does not give actual opening hours: check them before going.

Parco Miralfiore

On via del Miralfiore, it is described as a large park. The Municipality lists a children's playground, a fitness area, a café inside, public toilets and a dog run.

Parco della Pace

On via Redipuglia, it is a large park owned by the Province of Pesaro and Urbino, with a children's playground, fitness area and dog run.

Parco Molaroni, Parco Trulla and Parco Scarpellini

These are medium-sized parks with a children's playground: Parco Molaroni, on viale Pola, also houses the Museo della Marineria; Parco Trulla is on via Mancini and Parco Scarpellini on via Scarpellini, both with a dog run.

How to fit them into the day

With children it works to alternate: morning at the beach or by bike, afternoon in a park. For complete ideas read Pesaro with children, and for rainy days museums and indoor ideas. To get around without a car see the Bicipolitana guide.

With Nuovo Fiore

Nuovo Fiore, at Via Barignani 60, in the historic centre, has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, free bicycles and a private garage. Ponente beach is about 800 m away.
